Recently, rumors surfaced suggesting that actor Shoaib Ibrahim would be one of the participants in the upcoming season. However, Shoaib has now addressed these rumors directly. In a new vlog shared by his wife, Dipika Kakar, Shoaib clarified his stance on the matter. He firmly stated that there is no truth to the reports about his participation in Bigg Boss 18. Shoaib explained that every year his name appears on the speculative lists, but he has no plans to join the show anytime soon. He mentioned that perhaps in three to four years he might consider it, but as of now, it is not on his agenda. Shoaib also revealed that these rumors nearly cost him a project. He received a call from a production house inquiring about the veracity of the Bigg Boss rumors, as they were interested in signing him for a new show. He assured them that he is not participating in Bigg Boss 18 and expressed his willingness to discuss the new project.
The speculation about Shoaib’s involvement in Bigg Boss 18 was partly fueled by a previous vlog by Dipika Kakar. In the video, Dipika taught Shoaib how to cook and jokingly remarked that he was ready to join the reality show. Shoaib laughed and told her to stop, but the lighthearted moment led to serious rumors. Both Dipika and Shoaib gained widespread recognition from their roles in the TV show Sasural Simar Ka. They got married and have a son named Ruhaan. Currently, Dipika is taking a break from TV serials to focus on being a dedicated mother to Ruhaan. Shoaib, meanwhile, was last seen in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, where he finished as the runner-up.
Despite the rumors, Shoaib has made it clear that he is not participating in Bigg Boss 18. However, it seems that he has an exciting new project on the horizon. This clarification should put to rest any speculation about his involvement in the controversial reality show, at least for the upcoming season.
